Caring for your Soaps & Crémes.
_Your handmade soap does not contain any commercial hardeners or lathering agents, so to get the most enjoyment from your soap here are a few tips:
Your goats milk lotion or créme contains real, fresh goats milk so it also needs to have a preservative. We use a paraben free preservative. To help the preservative do its job keep your lotion/créme as cool as is possible, and out of direct heat. You can also choose to keep it in the fridge to help prolong the life of the product. (this is nice in summertime!) Use your lotion/créme within a few months after purchase to ensure its freshness.
Keep soaps, crémes and lotions out of your eyes. The ingredients are as natural as possible but will still sting and hurt your eyes!
Always discontinue using either soaps, lotions or crémes should they irritate your skin in any way. It's wise to do a test on a sensitive skin area, such as inner arm, before using any new skin product.
Be aware that essential oils can have an affect on our bodies so be sure to know which oils are safe for you if your are pregnant or suffering any ailments.
I am always appreciative of any feedback, negative or positive, to help me make my products even better.
- For amazing bubbles and a longer lasting soap use a shower puff/scrubber. These gently exfoliate at the same time as creating a huge bubbly and creamy lather.
- Use a soap drainer to keep your soap dry between uses or it will soften much quicker.
- Keep your soap out of direct sun or heat.
- Essential oils are natural and will fade over time in soap, so use your soap within a few months of purchase.
